The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Olajide Ipinsagba, has commended the exemplary leadership and political wisdom demonstrated by President Bola Tinubu in the conduct of the recent nomination process of the All Progressives Congress, APC, describing it as a reflection of the President’s unwavering commitment to democracy, fairness, and party cohesion.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Senator Ipinsagba expressed profound appreciation to President Tinubu for providing purposeful leadership that continues to strengthen democratic values within the APC and inspire confidence among party members across the country.
The lawmaker also conveyed his gratitude to the party Chairman Professor Nentawe Yieatda Goshwe and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC for ensuring a transparent and credible process that reflected the wishes of party stakeholders and reinforced confidence in the internal democratic mechanisms of the ruling party.
Senator Ipinsagba further acknowledged the immense support and encouragement he received from the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, whose steadfast commitment to the progress and unity of our party, the country at large and in particular our dear Sunshine State remains commendable.
He equally appreciated party leaders, delegates, political associates, grassroots mobilisers, youths, women, and thousands of supporters across the six local government areas of Ondo North Senatorial District for their unwavering loyalty, prayers, and confidence in his leadership.
According to the Senator, the overwhelming support demonstrated throughout the primary process has further strengthened his resolve to continue providing quality representation, promoting people-centred legislation, and attracting impactful development projects to the district.
Senator Ipinsagba reaffirmed that the outcome of the primary should serve as a rallying point for all members of the APC, urging party faithful to close ranks, embrace reconciliation, and work collectively towards securing greater victories for the party in future elections.
