Governor Appoints New Head of Service.

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Falilat Musa as the new Head of Service (HOS) of the state.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Monday in Lokoja by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade.

According to the statement, Mrs. Musa takes over from Mr. Elijah Evineni, who has been redeployed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget and Economic Planning II.

Until her appointment, Mrs. Musa served as the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary in the Kogi State Ministry of Justice.

She also previously served as President of the Federation of International Female Lawyers (FIDA), Kogi State chapter.

Governor Ododo congratulated the new appointees and wished them success in their new assignments, while thanking them for their contributions to the development of their former offices.

The appointments and redeployments take immediate effect.
