Suspected Kidnappers Snatch Nursing Mother and Baby in Ondo Community
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly abducted a nursing mother and her baby along the Supare-Ayegunle axis of Akoko South West Local Government area of Ondo State.
The Hope gathered that the victim was snatched alongside her baby during the incident.
A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the woman’s husband is a popular and well-known furniture maker in Akungba area.
The source said, “The husband is into furniture making and very popular in Akungba area. His wife was kidnapped alongside his baby.”
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, DSP Jimoh Kazeem, said the command was yet to confirm the incident.
He told The Hope, “Information at my disposal is still sketchy, and I can’t confirm it yet. However, I’ll revert once there’s enough information.”
