Wike makes u-turn over private operators-driven Abuja bus terminals

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says the government will now play a direct role in managing take-off of the newly constructed Abuja bus terminals reversing the earlier plan to hand over full operations to the private sector.

Speaking during the inspection of the ongoing central business district bus terminal and several road projects in the territory, the Minister explained that while the private sector will still participate, the FCT Administration will midwife the operational process to ensure a smooth and efficient start-up.
