PDP Crisis Deepens as  Wike’s Camp Petitions NJC

The internal crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a fresh turn as a faction loyal to FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, petitions the National Judicial Council (NJC) against Justice Ladiran Akintola of the Oyo State High Court.

The petition accuses Justice Akintola of judicial misconduct for allowing the party’s national convention to hold in Ibadan, a decision that directly conflicts with an earlier Federal High Court order restraining the convention.

The move has further divided the party ahead of the convention slated for November 15–16, with both camps now battling over which ruling stands.
