 Nigerian Man Buried with His Bet9ja Coupons After Dying of Shock Over Lost Bets

In a heartbreaking twist of fate, a young Nigerian man has been reportedly buried with his Bet9ja coupons after his sudden death triggered by the shocking outcome of his betting tickets.

According to community sources, the deceased had placed two separate bets with hopes of transforming his fortune overnight. One of the tickets, worth ₦34 million, failed by just one game, while the second ticket which could have earned him ₦7.2 million also crashed after a single game failed to deliver.
Witnesses say that upon realizing both tickets were lost, the man collapsed out of shock and never recovered. Efforts to revive him proved futile as he was later confirmed dead.

In a symbolic  and perhaps painful  gesture, family and friends reportedly buried him with the Bet9ja slips that cost him his life, calling it “the dreams that died with him.”

This tragic incident has reignited conversations around the growing betting culture in Nigeria, where many young people are lured by the promise of instant wealth but often face devastating emotional and financial consequences.
