Yesterday, the entire Egbema region joined hands with Mmahu town in a grand carnival of appreciation for Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima MFR (Omeudo), whose selfless contributions and steady impact have touched every corner of Egbema.
It was not just a celebration, but an official reception and thanksgiving for a leader whose love for his people has been demonstrated through visible and consistent actions.
Elders of Mmahu and other Egbema towns poured out prayers and incantations, calling for abundant blessings upon Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima, and asking for divine strength to triumph over enemies of progress both for him and his loyal followers.
Women adorned in colourful attire danced joyfully, chanting praises to Omeudo for lifting their festivals to glorious heights. Each participating community added splendour to the occasion by showcasing their unique masquerades in honour of the man they celebrate.
The atmosphere was electrifying, filled with unity, music, and jubilation, as Hon. Heculus Okoro masterfully coordinated the proceedings, ensuring the reception remained vibrant from start to finish.
