Youths plan 1m man-march against hardship, illegal mining, insecurity on October 1st

…plans to mention perpetrators, enablers

A coalition of various Nigerian ethnic youth groups having lunched “Otoge Movement” has announced the October 1st 2025 as the day Nigerian Youths will come out enmass to expose perpetrators, enablers and sponsors of illegal minings, insecurity and impoverishment in Nigeria.

Naming Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Bauchi as Assembly cities for the demonstration, the group’s leadership noted that popular music Artists have been assigned to coordinate entertainment in these cities while the three days demonstration holds.

Kabiru Dallas, the North West Coordinator of the group noted that it is a pity to have Nigerians celebrate her county’s 65th independence anniversary under renewed Hopelessness as hunger is sinking homes while insecurity grows horns.
