Nigerian pastor dies suddenly

The Christian community in Kaduna and across Nigeria is mourning the sudden death of Reverend Azzaman David, a respected pastor and outspoken advocate for the Christian faith.

Pastor David was known for his bold online presence and active participation in interfaith debates, especially on Facebook. Reports say he died in a fatal car accident on Saturday while travelling back to Kaduna from Makurdi in Benue State.

As of now, the exact details of the accident that claimed the life of the Senior Pastor of The King Worship Chapel and Ministry, Inc., based in Kaduna, are still not fully known.

But according to SaharaReporters, a family member, Rev. Mohammed Mohammed, confirmed that Pastor David died at the scene of the crash.

“REV Azzaman Azzaman had an accident on his way back from Makurdi. He died alone in the car. May he rest in peace. May the Lord comfort us in the name of Jesus,” Rev. Mohammed said in a statement on Sunday.
