“2002 children have started…” – Man expresses shock after attending child’s school PTA meeting
A Nigerian man has shared his frustration after attending his child’s PTA meeting, saying the whole experience left him shocked and far from what it used to be.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @updateboyx, he explained that what used to be a serious gathering of parents now feels completely different, as many of the people he met looked too young to even be there.
“PTA meeting has turned into a useless thing now. 2002 children have given birth and started acting as parents,” he said.
He noted that almost all the parents around him had tattoos and piercings, which made him reflect on how much times have changed.
According to him, it felt strange sitting among people he still sees as “children” now acting as full parents.
He added that one particular parent stood out during the meeting because of his behaviour.
“Another one even did diamond teeth. Any small thing, he’ll start forcing a smile just to show his teeth. He doesn’t have anything to say, he just wants to show his teeth,” he said.
The video has since sparked reactions online, with many users sharing their thoughts.
One user wrote, “2002 don born reach PTA? Omo time no dey wait for anybody o 😭” Another added, “Na the diamond teeth part finish me. Bros just dey advertise him investment 😂”
