Rauf Aregbesola Dares Tinubu In Lagos, Reveals His Plots Against The President

Former governor of Osun state and national secretary of the coalition party, Rauf Aregbesola has once more, reiterated his commitment to every reasonable effort to oust president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Rauf Aregbesola who received thousands of members of other political parties to the coalition party–African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos today, expressed his excitement at how Nigerians have accepted the coalition party and their desire to ensure that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not remain in power beyond 2027.

He blamed the Tinubu’s administration for the hardship in the country, noting that every Nigerian must align with the bold movement by the ADC to rescue Nigeria’s democracy.

He stated that he is totally committed to every effort being made by millions of Nigerians united by the current economic and security situation of the country to ensure that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is defeated in 2027.

Speaking to the defectors, he emphasized that Nigerians must not at this point yield to primitive sentiment capable of derailing the course of rescuing Nigeria in 2027.

According to him, this is not the time to give in to ethnic, religious division and partisanship. He said the need to rescue Nigeria from its current leadership is a national call and responsibility on every right thinking Nigerian.

He said: “at a time when our people face hardship and despair, we must rise above partisanship and rebuild our nation with transparency, internal democracy, and inclusion for youth and women”.

Aregbesola further assured his supporters and defectors that their commitment towards rescuing Nigeria will definitely produce good results.

“Today marks a new beginning, proof that when good people unite, the best will surely come out of it”.

Since his joining the ADC and emerging its national secretary, former governor Rauf Aregbesola has become one of the forefront leaders of the opposition against the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), a party he was on of its founding fathers.

His falling out with his erstwhile political ally, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu resulted in his being expelled from the APC over alleged anti-party activities.
