OWO/OSE 2023: IT’S YOUTH O’CLOCK
…Maximizing the voting strength to build a formidable force
The Yearnings of the youthful population of Nigeria for the past few years have been the inclusion of the young people in governance, and that gave birth to the Not Too Young to Run bill, which was subsequently passed into law.
Our country, over the past 10 years has witnessed numerous political, and socioeconomic issues, which have one way or another affected the systems and policies of the Fabrics of our existence.
The call for a total change of narrative and policies has been at one point or another spearheaded by the youths, who are the generations of young, vibrant, and intellectual Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 45 years.
The young people, after a long time of being spectators in the National politics of the country, have revolutionized the polity. No wonder that out of the 12,298,944 registered voters in the 2022 completed voters registration, the youth are 8,784,677, of the population, that youth makes up 71.4% of the total number of registered citizens that will vote come 2023.
Relatively, in Owo/Ose Federal constituency, the young people have had little or no representation since the inception of democratic rule.
Apparently, the narrative will change come 2023 as the youths in all the communities in Owo/Ose federal constituency are set to maximize their voting strength and deliver the mandate to one of them, Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare.
OGO, as fondly called by political admirers, is a passionate young man, whose passion is to see the proper development of Owo/Ose come to actualization.
Ogundare, who has over the years gained popular acceptance from both the young and old is ready, with the collective mandate of the electorate, to salvage Owo/Ose from her current state of mal-development.
His quest to represent Owo/Ose at the lower chamber of the National Assembly is to give the Youth a voice and also help stabilize the existence of the old generation.
The Youths are politically active and are actively ready to maximize their voting strength to actualize the quest of Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare to provide an all-inclusive representation and salvage the constituency from her pauperized state.
