Just In : Agbaka Afolabi Obasuyi Condemns Attack on worshippers, Condole with Victims, Call on security agencies for Proper Measure
The Agbaka of Alagbaka in Akure South local government Area of Ondo state, Agbaka Afolabi Obasuyi has condemned the horror unleashed on worshippers of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owaluwa Owo in Ondo State on Sunday.
In is Commiseration message, Agbaka described the incident as unfortunate and calls for immediate action by the government and the security architect of the State.
According to him, This is a massacre, and the horror released on the worshippers is unacceptable in any part of the world, for how long do we battle insecurity in our communities? It is high time we put up a stronger security architecture in place so as to avert to the bearest minimum the spate of crime in our society.” He said.
He further commiserates with the families of the victims and prays for the quick recovery of the survivors.
“As a peace and loving kingdom, I implore everyone to be calm, even as actions are being made by the government and stakeholders to curb the reoccurrence of this horrific act. He stated.
